Léonard passes his viva!    [03.07.26]

Congratulations to Dr. Léonard Olivotto on passing his PhD viva in Grenoble - well done! Many thanks to the examiners Julea Butt (East Anglia), Nicolas Plumeré (TU Munich), Murielle Chavarot-Kerlidou (CEA Grenoble), Nicolas Le Poul (Brest), Jérôme Chauvin (UGA) and Ian Mabbett (Swansea) for giving him proper scrutiny.

His doctoral work focused on designing and synthesizing enzyme-nanomaterial hybrid catalysts for oxygen‑tolerant photo- and electrochemical CO₂ reduction.

Naturally, we made sure to celebrate the occasion properly afterwards in the Kühnel Lab - a relaxed, genuine moment of team joy. Once again, congratulations, Dr. Léonard Olivotto, and all the best for your future endeavors, we are proud of you!
